Be a Kid Again
At some point in our lives, many of us lose our curiosity. We start accepting most of what we hear and read as fact and then shrug our shoulders and go on our way.
Imagine how different our world would be if we went back to being kids again.
What does that mean?
It means going back to asking a simple question that kids ask hundreds of times a day.
Why?
If you’re a parent or have been around kids you have probably been driven crazy by this question.
“Why is the sky blue?”
“Why is the moon following me?”
“Why do I have to clean my room?”
“Why do I have to eat vegetables?”
You can say anything to a kid and they’ll ask you, “Why?”
Get Curious Again!
Where did we lose our curiosity? Was it when our parents answered us with a frustrated, “Because I said so!”?
Did our school systems go from encouraging inquisitiveness to memorizing facts? Whatever the reason, it is time to get curious again!
Start asking the question Why? more often.
You’ll be surprised by what you learn.
